About the PDF to Images tool
This tool turns PDF pages into images, to put them in a presentation, publish them on a website or social network, or send them to someone without a PDF reader.
Features
- PNG or JPG: PNG for crisp text, JPG for smaller files
- Three resolutions: 72 dpi (screen), 150 dpi (everyday use), 300 dpi (print)
- Page choice: all pages or just the ones you tick
- Download: one image per page, or all images in a ZIP file
- Preview: a thumbnail of every page
How to use
- Step 1: drop your PDF or click “Choose a PDF”
- Step 2: choose the format, resolution and pages
- Step 3: click “Convert and download”, or ⬇ under a page
Use cases
- Presentations: put a report page into a slide deck
- Social media: post a flyer or visual you received as a PDF
- Websites: show a document preview
- Sharing: send a page to someone who can’t open PDFs
Tips
- For text-heavy documents, PNG at 150 dpi works best
- 300 dpi makes very large images: keep it for printing
- A password-protected PDF cannot be converted
Privacy
Unlike most online PDF services, nothing is uploaded to a server: your files are read and processed by your browser, on your device, and the result is downloaded directly. We never have access to them. You can even go offline once the page has loaded.
