About HEX to RGB Converter
This converter turns a hexadecimal color code into its red, green and blue values (0-255) and back. It also shows the equivalent CSS hsl() value, so you can copy the color in the format your stylesheet or design tool expects.

Tips & Best Practices
- #abc is shorthand for #aabbcc: each digit is doubled
- In #RRGGBBAA, the last two digits are the opacity: FF = opaque, 80 ≈ 50 %, 00 = transparent
- An alpha given in rgba() is stored on 8 bits in HEX, so 0.5 becomes 80 (128/255 ≈ 0.502)
