About Image Placeholder
Generate custom placeholder images for prototypes, wireframes and mockups. Images are drawn in your browser with HTML Canvas and downloaded as a real image file.
Key Features
- Custom Dimensions: any size from 10×10 to 4000×4000 pixels
- Colors: choose the background and text colors
- Custom Text: your own text, or the dimensions by default; long text is shrunk to fit
- Formats: download as PNG, JPEG or WebP
How to Use the Tool
- Step 1: set the width and height, or click a common size
- Step 2: pick the colors, the text and the format
- Step 3: click "Generate Image"
- Step 4: click the download button

Tips & Best Practices
